Doctor Sara Cody Talks about how they make you feel more relaxed at Lift Dental
Dental anxiety and the fear of coming into the practice is very real. We deal with this on a daily basis. So we’ve trained a lot with our team on just, even it starts with the phone call, that just being greeted by this non-threatening, loving voice that has a smile to it has been very important and knowing that you’re already going to be greeted, not judged, and it’s just this positive way of like, how are we there to help you?
From the moment that you walk into Lift Dental, you can tell that it’s just a different setting, different feeling of warmth, and more like you’re at home, you finally found home. With our, you know, anxious patients, we just spend time like, what triggers that? What’s gone on in the past? What can we do going forward? And it’s amazing just to have a great conversation and communicate that with someone and to be just really let them know, you know, we’re non-judgmental here, that we really want to support and help you out in the best way we can.
From there, it’s just going to be a personal fit on how do we get you comfortable? And sometimes it’s just through all the communication and everything that we just did on the front end on making you feel comfortable from the minute that you’ve met us. But if we do need more options, we have all services here, anything from the laughing gas and then more sedation to a pill form sedation all the way up to IV sedation.
